have given U.S. cell carriers little incentive to continue to improve
cell phone technology but higher demands and expectations from U.S
consumer has almost forced carriers toward innovation the they were
avoiding.
With these demands cell phone service providers are finally getting with it and working to get the U.S. caught up in the area of mobile technology. The U.S. is way behind Europe and Asian in regards to cell phone technology but with the introduction of 4G wireless speeds the U.S. is on the road to redemption.
4G wireless is expected to greatly improve data service on cell phones in the U.S. and increase download speeds up to 10 times over 3G speeds. With the ever growing demand for data and Internet services on mobile phones such as the Iphone 4G service should do a lot to satisfy the demands of consumers and help American carriers catch up with their counterparts throughout the world.
